Angel Njenga - Tideline

Angel Njenga is an Analyst at Tideline and focuses on project research and supporting the operational needs of client engagements. Angel joined the Tideline team in September 2017.

Prior to Tideline, Angel worked as a Project Manager at Canyon Partners, an alternative asset management firm with over $20 billion in assets under management, where she coordinated across the legal, operations, and trading departments to manage the firm’s relationships with trading counterparties. As a member of the legal team, Angel also oversaw various internal projects and databases to support legal and compliance operations.

Angel began her career as a Fellow with the Aga Khan Foundation based in Washington DC and West Africa. In Washington DC, Angel was part of an impact investing team responsible for managing a $20 million portfolio of investments in social enterprises in South and Central Asia. Angel coordinated research on impact measurement strategies and supported day-to-day operations of the investment team. Later in Mali and Cote d’Ivoire, Angel supported partnership development and gained experience in program design and project implementation as a member of the West Africa regional grants team.

Angel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a BA in International Relations and a minor in French.
