Putting Diversity Promises Into Action

With diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) cemented as critical strategic priorities for institutional investors, the dust is beginning to settle on approaches to operationalizing DEI-related commitments. This Compass Series event featured a discussion about one of the most prominent collective DEI efforts, ILPA’s Diversity in Action initiative, and its two key pillars: (1) A commitment from investors to foundational DEI-related activities, including the tracking of diversity metrics and the implementation of inclusive recruitment and retention policies; and (2) The combined force of a rapidly growing community of over 200 signatories representing both LPs and GPs.
