State of the Impact Investment Market: Trends, Tailwinds, Challenges
State of the Impact Investment Market: Trends, Tailwinds, Challenges
Coming off a period of rapid industry growth, but in the face of global economic uncertainty, we have seen the creation in the last year of the largest multi-billion-dollar private markets impact investing funds, consolidation and coalescence in ESG and climate-related reporting, and, perhaps most significantly, the acceleration of regulatory efforts setting minimum standards for sustainability-related marketing and investment disclosures.
In Tideline’s second annual ‘State of the Market’ Compass Series, we took stock of recent developments in impact investing as an institutional-quality proposition. Co-moderated by Tideline’s Ben Thornley and Jane Bieneman, the panel featured leading practitioners with a breadth of understanding and market connectivity.
